The 49,500 S.F., three-story building is constructed from a panelized wood frame structure on concrete foundations. The exterior is comprised of masonry veneer, siding, architectural shingles and Energy Star vinyl windows. The units have energy efficient heating and cooling systems, Energy Star rated light fixtures and water conserving plumbing fixtures. The site was comprised of un-compacted fill and high plastic soils which required extensive ground modifications prior to beginning work on the building. The finished product includes 49 one- and two-bedroom apartments and received Enterprise Green Communities Certification.
