Mike Duffy

Executive Vice President

Mike Duffy has dedicated his career to the redevelopment of disadvantaged communities throughout the country. Duffy brings his 20 years of affordable housing experience to the Roanoke team, helping manage projects with a careful eye toward financing requirements and integrated project success. He contributes extensive experience working with outside investors and lenders and in structuring complex real estate investments combined with market-rate debt, federal, state and local development incentives, and HUD housing programs.

For nearly 15 years he served as Chief Investment Officer at McCormack Baron Salazar, Inc. (MBS), one of the nation’s leading for-profit developers of economically integrated urban neighborhoods. Most recently, Duffy served as Director of State Credits at Twain Financial Partners, an investment management firm with more than $4 billion in assets under management within the public-private partnership sector. Prior to MBS, Duffy sourced and closed tax-credit enhanced equity transactions for both St. Louis Equity Fund and Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing.
