Director of Preconstruction

Jackie True has dedicated her career in construction to the restoration of buildings and the preservation of housing. Trained originally as a structural engineer, she began her career in high-rise construction and was involved in the restoration of One Prudential Plaza in downtown Chicago as well as the construction of the 28-story federal courthouse in downtown St. Louis.

As the Director of Preconstruction at Roanoke Construction, Jackie has been a key leader at Roanoke Construction since the inception of the company, working closely with Roanoke President Kevin Buchek on all major projects in the firm’s portfolio to-date. Jackie has been involved in all aspects of our work, including the initial inception of a project, design, development, budgeting, scheduling, bidding, management and final project close-out.  She prides herself on her close relationships with her clients and successful project completions where all parties prosper from the final project. Jackie’s commitment to encouraging girls to pursue unconventional career opportunities also makes her an important torch bearer of the Roanoke Construction vision.
